Rehabilitation and improvement of industrial flooring for the agri-food industry

Frutas Montosa was founded in 1982 and specialises in the harvesting, storage, processing and distribution of high value crops such as avocados and mangoes.

The epoxy flooring had multiple patched and damaged areas and required continuous re-application to keep the floor in working condition. This resulted in high floor repair costs and production downtime due to the harmful nature of these solutions when applied.

It was decided to rehabilitate the area by removing the entire epoxy resin layer and apply the BECOSAN® treatment. The result now offers greater functionality, resistance and is easy to clean and maintain, while meeting all sanitary requirements.
