What types of concrete floor restoration do we offer?

BECOSAN® offers a complete range of concrete floor restoration services designed to address the most common forms of deterioration found in industrial and commercial environments. From superficial abrasion to structural degradation, our interventions are based on proven methods and carried out by specialised technicians using certified systems.

Each type of intervention is carefully selected according to the floor’s condition, usage requirements, and long-term performance expectations.

We remove worn or failing epoxy and resin coatings using mechanical or chemical methods, leaving a clean surface ready for treatment.

We rebuild damaged zones and fill broken areas with structural mortars, ensuring both performance and visual consistency.

We seal cracks and fissures to stop further deterioration and prevent ingress of water, dust, or chemicals.

We repair or rebuild worn joints to restore durability and eliminate bumps, noise, and potential trip hazards.

We remove industrial anchors and bolts, then patch the holes to restore a level, continuous surface.

We eliminate outdated or incorrect floor markings with precision grinding or stripping, ideal for warehouse layout changes.

We repair surface scratches and abrasion marks caused by forklifts, dragging pallets, or daily wear, restoring a smooth and even finish.

As specialists in polished concrete, we turn restored surfaces into high-performance, dust-proof, and low-maintenance floors.

Phase 1

Targeted repairs and floor preparation

We start with a detailed evaluation of the floor’s physical condition. Based on the findings, we execute precise repair interventions to restore structural integrity:

  • Mechanical removal of old coatings, adhesives, line markings, anchors, and bolts.
  • Local repair of cracks, damaged joints and compromised surface areas using premium-grade mortars.
  • Final levelling and surface preparation to ensure stable, even conditions for treatment.

These operations are performed by certified technicians using industrial-grade equipment, ensuring the slab is uniform, clean, and ready for polishing—without repeating our service list word-for-word.

Phase 2

BECOSAN® Surface Treatment via Progressive Polishing

Once the concrete surface has been prepared, we apply the BECOSAN® treatment, a certified process carried out entirely through progressive polishing. This method improves surface performance by enhancing hardness, sealing the pores, and delivering a durable, dust-free finish.

The BECOSAN® system consists of the following stages:

Surface Preparation and Grinding

The first polishing steps remove surface roughness and open the concrete pores, creating the optimal condition for chemical treatment.

Step Floor Micro Roughness

Densification

A lithium-based densifier is applied to the open surface. It penetrates deeply and reacts with the free lime in the concrete, increasing abrasion resistance and reducing porosity.

Sealing

A water-based sealant is introduced during the polishing process. It chemically bonds with the densified concrete to further protect the surface and enhance durability. This is not a topical coating, but an integrated sealing step.

Progressive polishing to desired finish

Depending on the required level of gloss — Matte-PLUS, Semi-Gloss or High-Gloss — we carry out multiple polishing passes with finer diamond tools. Each step refines the floor’s texture and compactness, until the specified finish is achieved.

Frequently Asked Questions

Things our clients often ask us

Answers to common concerns about our concrete restoration system.

Pricing depends on the size of the surface, the extent of repairs needed, and the chosen finish. After a site visit, we provide a tailored, itemised quotation with no commitment.

Yes. Our team can work in phases, during off-peak hours or weekends, to minimise disruption to your production or logistics activities.

Repairs target isolated defects. A full concrete surface restoration strengthens the entire slab, eliminates dust, improves durability and restores mechanical performance across the whole floor.

Absolutely. We often work in older facilities where the concrete slab is still structurally sound but has lost its surface resistance or is affected by joint and crack deterioration.
