BECOSAN® provides a proven, cost-effective, and certified flooring solution tailored to the needs of the chemical industry in the United States.
Chemical manufacturing environments require flooring systems that can endure extreme conditions. From corrosive spills to demanding hygiene protocols, every aspect matters. Choosing the right chemical-resistant flooring minimizes contamination risks, reduces accidents, and extends your facility’s lifespan.
At BECOSAN®, we specialize in industrial chemical-resistant flooring for American labs, production plants, and storage facilities. Our polished concrete system offers a seamless, hygienic, and high-performance surface that meets U.S. safety and quality standards.
We use a 4-step method to install acid-resistant and lab flooring designed for high durability, safety, and low maintenance. With the capacity to treat over 10,000 sq. ft. per day, we ensure minimal disruption to your operations.
We mechanically grind the concrete using industrial equipment equipped with integrated dust extraction systems. This removes old coatings, levels the slab, and opens up the pores for maximum product absorption—essential in any science lab flooring or chemical lab flooring application.
Once prepared, we apply the BECOSAN® lithium-based densifier. This solution penetrates the concrete and reacts with its components to internally harden the structure. The densification process enhances mechanical durability and improves chemical resistance, protecting the floor against cleaning agents, diluted acids, and occasional chemical spills. It is a key step for achieving a stable and long-lasting industrial chemical resistant flooring system.
Following densification, the surface is polished using diamond abrasives to refine the texture and improve functionality. This creates a joint-free, seamless surface that is easier to clean and resistant to wear. In the chemical industry, where spillage, residues and heavy traffic are common, a smooth and closed surface improves both hygiene and safety.
In the final step, we apply the BECOSAN® sealant to close the concrete’s microstructure and protect the surface against dust and liquid penetration. A final polishing stage follows, which defines the floor’s final finish and ensures optimal performance. The result is a dust-proof, acid resistant flooring system that is easy to maintain and ready for normal use within 24 to 48 hours.
Our chemical-resistant floors are tested to comply with U.S. health, safety, and environmental standards.
Our science lab floors are non-porous, seamless, and resistant to mold and bacteria. The polished concrete surface supports frequent sanitization with ease.
Heavy foot traffic, equipment loads, and chemical exposure demand more than just resistance—our floors are built to last without peeling or degradation.
From forklifts to lab equipment, our floors withstand impacts and heavy use while maintaining structural integrity.
All BECOSAN® flooring systems meet international slip-resistance standards—even in wet or chemically active environments.
Our acid-proof flooring solutions resist damage from solvents, acids, and other aggressive substances—making them ideal for chemical manufacturing flooring or flooring for laboratories.
Our polished concrete system is certified under ISO 9001 and has passed abrasion and slip resistance testing. We deliver chemical-resistant flooring for laboratories and production spaces that need protection from occasional spills and harsh cleaning agents.
Complies with recognised anti-slip standards for industrial environments.
Strict European quality management and performance standards.
Is a test for screed materials.
No surface damage from accidental leaks.
Floors remain intact under intense sanitation.
Built to withstand machinery and rolling loads.
BECOSAN® polished concrete outperforms epoxy systems by avoiding bubbling or peeling. It’s cost-effective, low-maintenance, and perfect for high-traffic chemical lab flooring areas.
Yes. We can work in phases or during off-hours. Our dust-controlled machines allow ongoing activity in many facilities.
We typically install over 10,000 sq. ft. per day. Timelines vary based on floor conditions and size.
Absolutely. Our science lab flooring systems are ideal for dry environments with moderate chemical exposure. For high-risk chemical zones, we offer additional surface treatments.
It handles most common lab and industrial chemicals well—especially if spills are cleaned promptly. Constant immersion is not recommended.
Minimal. Regular sweeping and damp mopping are enough. For cleanrooms or sensitive areas, steam cleaning is safe and effective.
Yes. It complies with all major slip-resistance standards and is customizable depending on your safety needs.
Our warranty covers dust-proofing and surface hardness, assuming basic care. It does not cover chemical burns from misuse or mechanical damage.
